Creative Code Conversation and Meetup

Gray Area is excited to bring it’s Creative Code Meetup to Moogfest 2016. If you are a creative working at the intersection of art and technology, or you are interested in exploring that world, this meetup is for you! The Creative Code Meetup is a curated monthly series of public artist talks and exhibitions dedicated to artists/designers who work with code/technology as their medium. At this meetup, lead by Gray Area’s Director of Education Matthew Ganucheau, glean insights from artists working in a variety of media, including Cullen Miller, an audiovisual composer, spatial-media designer, and curator; Alexander Randon, creator of Fugue Machine (the world’s first multi-playhead music sequencer), and Arpeggionome (a matrix touch-arpeggiator); and Jonathan Dinu, Educator, Artist and Data Viz extraordinaire. Learn from the technical and conceptual challenges they face working in this field, and even get to see some performances of their work.
